Doctor Toshiko Sato is, simply put, a genius. A woman in her early 30’s, Tosh as she is known to her friends and co-workers is, simply put, a technological genius. After graduating from university, Tosh was recruited by a government scientific think tank and from there she moved to the Cardiff branch of the Torchwood Institute- a secret agency founded by Queen Victoria to protect the British Isles from alien threats. Her role at Torchwood is as the technical expert of the group and some of her tasks involve computer coding, identifying the use of alien artifacts, translating alien languages, and fixing things around the Hub- although she can’t for the life of her figure out what is wrong with the microwave.

Appearance: Tosh is a Japanese woman who looks to be in her late 20’s or early 30’s. Her dress style is smart casual and she often wears a pair of reading glasses.
